Project Description: The Safe Passage program is designed to provide safe routes for students in order to increase attendance, decrease violent incidents involving CPS students, and increase student perception of safety traveling to and from school. Each identified school will have a uniquely tailored Safe Passage strategy, which will take into consideration that school’s community, popular modes of student transportation, arrival and dismissal times, and student residences.
