INTRODUCTION:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20 anticipates
soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price Construction Contract
for the Seattle Nurse Call Replacement project at the Puget Sound HCS Seattle, WA Campus,
1660 S. Columbian Way, Seattle, Washington, 98108.
DESCRIPTION:
The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Puget Sound Healthcare System (VAPSHCS), Seattle Campus requires the services of a contractor to provide all necessary supervision, services, tools, labor, materials, temporary equipment, and equipment to upgrade the existing Nurse Call system in Buildings 33, 100, 101, 102, and 103.
ADMINISTRATIVE:
The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with
FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the
solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small
Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Proposals received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not
be considered. The applicable NAICS Code is 238210 with a size standard of $19 Million. The
solicitation is expected to be issued in FY 2025. The period of performance is approximately
654-Calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Magnitude of Construction
is expected to be between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.00. This notice is not a request for
competitive offers. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email to
Ty.Draszt@va.gov by April 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM Pacific Time. Telephone calls
will not be accepted.
