5773 Emergency Tree Work Services

It is the City of New Rochelle’s intent to utilize the services of the awarded contractor on an as needed basis to provide all materials, labor and equipment for emergency tree removal service. That is to make the tree(s) safe and/or the roads and sidewalks passable as ordered and directed by City of New Rochelle Officials. Service will be required twenty- four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week with a response time of one (1) hour.  The estimated expenditure for services under the contract established from this request for quotation is approximately $100,000. annually. The City does not guarantee the actual amount of service that will be required.

The City of New Rochelle shall be held harmless by the successful bidder for any lost revenue, lost profit and overhead, or any other hardship due to amount of service required during the award period.

The City reserves the right to select the bidder whose prices, response time, and qualifications serve the best interest of the City.
