REQUEST FOR FORMAL WRITTEN PROPOSAL AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR SAINT PETER COMMUNITY CENTER ROOM 215 RENOVATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat formal written proposals for the renovation of Room 215 at the Saint Peter Community Center will be accepted until 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 8, 2025.

Interested contractors are strongly encouraged to schedule a site walkthrough with staff in late August before submitting proposals. To schedule or request additional information, contact John W. Stutzman, Recreation and Leisure Services Director, at 507-934-7431.

The project includes converting the existing apartment-style room into an open hallway, transforming the current private restroom into a fully ADA-compliant public restroom with an adult changing table, and expanding the entryway to create a more inviting and accessible transition from the main community center hallway. A current bedroom within the space will be repurposed as a dedicated "mothering room" for nursing and infant care. A new wall with a door will be constructed to separate the restroom and mothering room from the remaining space. The Contractor will be responsible for obtaining all required permits and ensuring full compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Contractor personnel must comply with OSHA standards, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment. All procedures and equipment must meet current NEC and OSHA safety regulations.
