Description:

a) This specification describes the minimum material and quality requirements for construction of one or more courses of HMA pavement at SPECIFIED locations in accordance with the contract documents or as directed by the Owner.
b) The work shall be in accordance with the NYSDOT Section 402 and the Owner’s directives.
c) Pavement construction includes but is not limited to tack coat, asphalt materials, water, and transport, equipment for placement, compaction, all necessary labor, maintenance, and protection of traffic including temporary pavement markings.
