Overview
Summary

The County Commissioners of Charles County are soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide curbside collection services of recyclable materials from Charles County residences. Based on successful bid, work shall consist of EOW or Weekly curbside collection of Recyclables from the residential Dwelling Units described in this ITB and delivery of such to the County or Contractor designated recycling facility. The work shall also include all supervision, manpower, equipment, and materials necessary to provide the services described in Appendix A - Special Provisions.

Background
  1. The Contractor shall serve all Dwelling Units located on the roadways indicated in the Service Areas listings in Appendix A - Section 19.0 – Service Areas Maps.
  2. The total number of Dwelling Units has been determined by actual house counts conducted by County staff during the period of June 2024 through October 2024.

Pre-bid meeting will occur virtually/teleconference, unless otherwise specified. Firms that have registered timely will receive participation instructions.

Questions shall be submitted via the eProcurement Portal Question & Answer feature prior to the due date and time specified. The County will not provide responses to questions received after the deadline.
Bid Opening Registration Deadline:
April 9, 2025, 8:00am
Registration is required to attend the bid opening. Bidders interested in participating in the bid opening must register electronically via the County's eProcurement Portal RSVP Manager. Pricing will be available on the eProcurement Portal after the Bid Opening.
