Summary

The City of Sierra Vista is requesting bids from qualified Contractors for PW-290 PD Evidence Parking Lot Construction , 2026-IFB-033 to be received no later than Friday, March 20, 2026 at 2:00 pm . All bids received after bid response deadline will not be accepted.

A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for February 24, 2026 at 10 a.m. AZ time at the Sierra Vista Police Department, 911 N. Coronado Drive, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635.

This project consists of earthwork, removal of existing improvements, and the construction of a new enclosed parking lot located east of the existing Police Department parking lot. Work includes paving; fencing; trenching and installation of new conduit; relocation of existing irrigation lines and valves; and drainage improvements.


The new parking lot shall be constructed of three (3”) inches of asphalt concrete over eight (8”) inches of aggregate base course. Additional improvements include construction of a valley gutter, installation of new fencing and temporary security fencing, excavation of a new drainage ditch, and backfilling of the existing ditch. Drainage improvements shall reconfigure the existing ditch to accommodate the new parking lot layout and provide positive drainage around the perimeter of the proposed improvements.


It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to complete the work specified herein and on the project plans. The contractor shall supply and/or provide any incidental services or accessories necessary to make the work complete and perfect in all respects and ready for operation. Any apparatus, appliance, material, or work not mentioned in the Specifications, or vice versa, or any incidental appurtenances necessary for the system to operate as to the intent of these Specifications, even if not particularly specified, shall be included in the bid price and furnished, delivered, and installed by the Contractor without additional expense to the City of Sierra Vista.

It shall be the contractor’s responsibility to coordinate all work with nearby contractors whose project area may overlap with this project. No additional payment will be made for this effort.
