Summary

The City of Charlottesville is soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors to establish a term contract to provide Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) bus tires and related repair services on an as-needed basis.

Background

The Contractor shall provide and deliver goods and services in the following categories:

  • Tires
  • Tire Installation & Repairs
  • Wheel Refurbishment
  • Tire Disposal

Orders that the City places against any term contract resulting from this solicitation will vary in value and quantities. The City will purchase tires on an as-needed basis. The number of tires purchased annually will vary. The City reserves the right to add and/or delete tire sizes and associated services as the need arises.
