Description:

DeWitt Charter Township is soliciting proposals from individuals and firms to provide a wide range of ongoing engineering services. The information provided in this request for Proposal (RFP) is intended to offer prospective bidders information to submit a responsive proposal to the Township for consideration. SCOPE OF SERVICES:

The Township is seeking the services identified below:

Act as an engineering consultant and technical advisor to Township departments.
Provide site plan and engineering plan reviews on behalf of the Township in accordance with current Township ordinances and design standards.
Supervise the preparation of plans, designs and estimates for buildings, sewers, water mains, pavements, safety paths and other Township improvements.
Oversee assigned projects to ensure contractor compliance with time and budget parameters.
Provide specialized engineering advice as requested. Please specify any areas of expertise that your firm has, or any members of your firm that have special qualifications to handle unique Township engineering requirements.
Provide other services of an engineering nature as may be requested by the Township.

TERM OF AGREEMENT:

DeWitt Charter Township is seeking a proposal for the term of three (3) years, with a renewal provision for one additional three (3) year term.

Qualifications:

1) Licensed in civil engineering, with experience in municipal civil engineering
2) Demonstrated experience in at least 2 municipalities for at least three years
3) Ability to clearly and fully respond to the complete RFP requirements

Special Requirements:

Proposals should clearly demonstrate experience, provide background information for the firm and the personnel that will be working with the Township, demonstrate resources that will be available to the Township, provide references and project highlights. A detailed fee schedule should also be included.
