This one-time, unusual and compelling requirement for the repair of a Condensing unit at building 4012, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) - Fort Sam Houston was awarded to Shafer-Anderson Holdings (Cage code:90ZM1) in response to critical facility HVAC system failures. Immediate repair is crucial to prevent a total shutdown of the facility, which supports Homeland Security operations. Further delays could result in harm to personnel, damage to equipment, and operational disruptions. As a result, a Purchase Order # FA301625P0125 in an amount of $24,211.00 was issued to Shafer-Anderson Holdings IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). A detailed Single Source Justification has been attached.
