Description:

The New York State (NYS) Office of General Services (OGS) Division of Food Distribution (FD Unit) is responsible for storing and distributing United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) food supplies for several different programs throughout NYS. OGS is seeking Technical Consulting Services to complete a thorough review of the existing business requirements, complete an assessment of tools needed to build a software solution, and provide recommendations for potential applications and peripheral development tools, if required.

The resultant contract term shall be six months upon OGS approval with a not-to-exceed contract value of $84,999.

The following minimum requirement must be met by each Bidder:

Contractor must have at least five years’ experience successfully providing IT strategic advisory and technical consulting services to state agencies for large complex government IT projects consisting of 20 state staff system users and 1000 or more external system users.
