EOHHS intends to issue an RFR to procure a vendor to provide subject matter expertise and consulting support for direct care worker curriculum, trainings and credentialing. The proposed solution includes the introduction of a Health Care Aide (HCA) certification for Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs). This initiative aims to create a comprehensive, standardized curriculum that meets or exceeds federal requirements while addressing contemporary healthcare needs.
