Description.
The NOAA Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO) Satellite and Information Acquisition Division (SIAD) located in Silver Spring, MD, proposes to negotiate a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition in support of the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS), Office of Satellite and Product Operations (OSPO). NOAA intends to negotiate a contract with Ansys Government Initiatives, Inc (AGI).
This sole source procurement is justified in accordance with FAR 13.501(a) and 41 U.S.C. 1901 for an action exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold using simplified procedures for certain commercial items. The approved Sole Source Justification is attached to this synopsis.
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. While the Government intends to use this solicitation to negotiate a contract with Ansys Government Initiatives, Inc, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
The solicitation number is 1332KP25Q0074, a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-04.
