The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) by the City of Harrisonburg, Virginia (City) is to solicit sealed proposals from interested vendors (Offeror) to provide temporary emergency communications staffing services for the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Emergency Communications Center (HRECC). The City is seeking to address a critical staffing shortage at the HRECC, which affects its ability to perform essential operations. The contract aims to provide certified emergency communications personnel who can efficiently handle emergency calls and coordinate response efforts.The City is currently under contract with GetResQ911 for these services. This contract will replace the Cityâs current GetResQ911 contract as a long-term solution for these services on an as-needed basis.
