Description


The City of Ray City will receive sealed bids for all material, labor, and equipment necessary for the construction of ARPA-SFRF WASTEWATER INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT PHASE 2 WPCP IMPROVEMENTS at the city hall in Ray City,8151 Main Street, P.O. Box 128, Ray City, GA 31645-0128 until 2:00 PM prevailing local time on SEPTEMBER 11, 2026, at which time and place bids will be opened and read. All interested parties are invited to attend. Proposals may be mailed or delivered to the attention of Alisha Williams, City Clerk at the above address. Proposals received after the designated date and time will not be considered. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.

The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct wastewater treatment plant improvements. More specifically the work includes, but is not limited to, bypass pumping, influent pumping station modifications, construction of new plant headworks including both mechanically and manually cleaned bar screens, flow metering equipment, automatic wastewater sampler, associated sitework, complete surface restoration, and all other work and appurtenances required.
Contract documents may be examined at the city hall in Ray City. Full printed copies of the plans, specifications and bidding documents may be obtained from Coastal Engineering Consultants, Inc., 118 E. Hancock Street NE, Unit 1023, Milledgeville, Georgia 31059 (Phone: 912-223-0647; E-mail: johnh@cec-ga.com) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $150.00 per set to cover printing and shipping costs. Electronic copies via e-mail will be made available without charge. All bidders must receive a bid package from the Engineer to be considered certified. Bids from non-certified bidders will not be considered.
