at which time the bids will be privately opened and logged at the Office of Procurement. RFP specifications will be available beginning on August 24, 2026 through the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com, during normal business hours.

The City is seeking qualifications and proposals and invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing professional forestry and natural resource planning services, to submit proposals for the preparation of Urban Woodland Management Plans for three city parks. The City intends to award one (1) contract as a result of this bid. This project has an estimated cost not to exceed $200,000.00.

Proposers must submit written questions no later than August 31, 2026 at 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com). The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
