It is the intent of these plans and specifications to provide for a general contractor who shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to perform in a professional manner for the 2026 Handwork Pavement Marking as described in the specifications and bid document.

The scope of work for this project shall consist of repainting pavement markings, legends, and symbols throughout the City of Kalamazoo. This work will involve placing waterborne paint to retrace existing pavement markings, legends, and symbols with minor additional items added as requested by the Engineer.
