Title: Tolt Reservoir Debris Boom Replacement

Project Description: This project consists of the following major elements of work: Replacement of the existing debris boom at the South Fork Tolt Reservoir Dam with a new single span debris boom downstream of the existing debris boom including installation of new debris boom anchors and anchor access roads on the reservoir shoreline. Existing boom to be removed and existing boom anchors to be abandoned. Project work also includes shoreline landscaping, removal of an existing access road, and structural and electrical retrofits to the walkway bridges from the dam crest to the reservoir spillway and intake towers.
Engineer's Estimate: $5,721,000.00
Project Location: This project is located at the South Fork Tolt Dam in the City of Seattle’s South Fork Tolt Municipal Watershed, approximately 40 miles east of Seattle. The existing debris boom spans the South Fork Tolt Reservoir east of the South Fork Tolt Dam. The site is accessed through a controlled access gate at 12910 NE Kelly Road, Duvall, WA. This project location is not open to the public.
This Project is a Covered Project subject to the City of Seattle’s Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) and Priority Hire SMC 20.37. With the support of the mayor and City Council, the City of Seattle administers programs that support racial and economic equity through contracting. Priority Hire is one of these programs. Priority Hire provides people living in economically distressed communities, women, and people of color access to work on the city’s construction projects. It gives contractors access to these skilled workers.
