Combined Synopsis/Solicitation 36C25626Q1280— CANCELLATION
1) Action: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, hereby CANCELS RFQ 36C25626Q1280 in its entirety. No award will be made under this solicitation, and no additional quotes will be accepted. This cancellation is posted electronically in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
2) Reason for Cancellation: After further review, the Government determined the requirement can be more efficiently fulfilled through an existing VA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) awarded to P4X, INC. dba PER4MAX MEDICAL, Contract No. 36F79725D0198, administered by the Department of Veteran Affairs, National Acquisition Center. Use of this pre‑competed vehicle is in the public interest and satisfies the Government’s needs, rendering the separate open‑market RFQ unnecessary.
3) Authority: This notice is issued pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements governing electronic cancellation notices, and under the VAAR/VAAM framework for VA acquisitions. Cancellation is appropriate and in the public interest when an existing Government contract vehicle is available and suitable to meet the requirement.
4) Background (for record clarity): RFQ 36C25626Q1280 was originally posted as a total SDVOSB set‑aside for the supply of Sports Wheelchairs at the Southeast Louisiana Veteran Health Care (New Orleans, LA), with quotes due August 05, 2026.
5) Future Actions: If future needs arise that cannot be met under the VA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS), the VA may issue a new solicitation. Interested parties should monitor SAM.gov for any resolicitation or future related opportunities.
