Project Description
Women remain significantly underrepresented in Alberta’s skilled trades, especially in construction and manufacturing. The Women in Skilled Trades (WIST) Retention Program at SAIT is a dynamic initiative designed to close this gap by enhancing recruitment and retention efforts for women apprentices across southern Alberta. SAIT is working to support the successful recruitment and retention of women in construction and manufacturing trades in Southern Alberta. We require a consultant specializing in inclusive spaces and diverse workplaces to create and facilitate two strategic interventions which compose parts of the retention program. The deliverables will be "Inclusive Culture Workshops and Allyship Curriculum for Apprentices.
