Description

Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide The University of Georgia School of Medicine with a medical education software solution as further described in this eRFP.  The solution will automatically map UGA's entire MD curriculum using Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven methods that analyze curricular content, learning objectives, and assessment data to generate and maintain curriculum mappings.
As we build the new School of Medicine and enter our next accreditation cycle, accurate and ongoing mapping of our curriculum is critical.  The solution must provide automatic mapping of our curriculum, using curricular content and learning materials, in a way that provides a searchable curriculum map that is suited for everyday use, as well as for use in accreditation. The AI capabilities must go beyond static or rules-based mapping and demonstrate the ability to analyze content and generate mappings with limited manual intervention. This tool will support our curricular quality improvement initiatives, curricular management, and LCME accreditation. The tool will eliminate the need for creating manual maps that would need to be imported, and the need for exporting spreadsheets that would need to be reworked to create data visualization and dashboards.
The University's  preferred award structure is a two-year Agency Contract with up to three annual (one-year) renewals thereafter.  This will be a single contract award to the highest scoring responsive and responsible supplier with whom the University can come to agreement on terms and conditions.
