This requirement is for the acquisition of MK54 Lightweight Torpedo Afterbody Section Machined Parts including engineering services, first article production of six (6) machined components, production quantities, and optional production qauntities for selected components. This Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) supply type and Not-to-Excedd Labor-Hour services contract was procured under the authority of 10 U.S.C. § 3204(a)(7) - Public Interest Exception under Special Emergency Procurement Authority, Class Deviation 2024-O0005. Full and open competition was not conducted based on a determination that it is not in the public interest for this particular acquisition.
