Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC), Office of Laboratory Systems and Response (OLSR) has a requirement for animal care/stockroom services. The CDC intends to issue a Request For Proposal (RFP) for a base year of 12 months, and four 12 - month option periods. The requirement is for animal care and maintenance at CDC’s Roybal and Lawrenceville campuses in Atlanta, GA. The services will consist of animal care services; sanitation and environmental services; veterinary medical/technical services; administrative services; and transportation services. It is anticipated that the government will award a single fixed price contract. The RFP will be issued full and open on SAM.gov on or about August 10, 2025. The RFP will be issued using commercial acquisition procedures in FAR Part 12, and negotiated acquisition procedures of FAR Part 15. The anticipated NAICS code is 541940 – Veterinary Services, with a size standard of $10M. It is anticipated that award will be made on or before September 30, 2025. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation, and be registered in SAM.gov in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring SAM.gov regularly for release of the solicitation and any amendments.
