Description
This project affects the Rocanville School, Rocanville Aquatic Centre, Nutrien Community Hall, Rocanville Rec Centre, and the Noble Construction Rocanville Skating Rink. Bidder will have to make accommodations for these facilities.
General Scope
*Sawcut entire length of old curb, approximately 136m
*Earthworks contractor will remove old curbing and excavate to the depth 50cam below final grade.
*Earthworks contractor will compact the subbase within 15cm of final pavement grade.
*Curbing contractor will be responsible to supply and compact the balance of the subbase and install the final curb
*South edge of curb must match the existing street elevations
*North edge of curb must be within 2.5cm of plan
*Contractor will provide necessary barricades required to allow for curing of curbs
Lowest or any bid not necessarily accepted
If bid deviates from supplied specifications, those deviations must be clearly noted.
Completion prior to July 21, 2025
Testing of concrete and subbase paid for by Town of Rocanville
Construction plan must allow limited access to the aforementioned facilities during the entire time
Contractor plan should minimize interruption to the school
Curb contractor and earthworks contractor must work together to allow for simultaneous work
Following dates will have restrictions due to bookings at facilities
April 25 & 26, May 2 & 3, June 6 & 7, June 25, 26, 27, 28, & 29, July 11, 12, & 13, July 18, 19, & 20

Bids close April 8, 2025
