Background
The West Sunset Lift Station is an extremely antiquated sanitary sewer lift station in a low-lying area located along West Sunset Blvd in Fort Walton Beach. The existing "bucket type" station has reached the end of its useful life and does not meet current OCWS standards, making rehabilitation an extremely costly and unfeasible option.
