Description
The Okanagan-Columbia (TOC) Business Area brushes previously planted blocks to mitigate vegetation competition and help reach free growing status. This contract will assist BCTS in achieving those goals.
The purpose of this contract is to manually brush herbaceous, woody and deciduous vegetation only in various locations in Revelstoke and Golden. This contract requires approximately 196.89 hectares to be brushed. The contract includes approximately 109.65 hectares of herbaceous brushing and approximately 87.24 hectares of woody and deciduous brushing.
Due to BCGEU strike, contract could not be posted at its scheduled time. Although viewing is not mandatory but recommended, expect snow in various areas.
A survey contractor will conduct brushing inspections to determine quality upon each unit completion.

Tender submissions must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the tender package.
If your bid deposit is in the form of cash, money order, certified cheque or bank draft, you will not be able to e-bid. See allowable submission delivery method(s) above. Also see Conditions of Tender for acceptable bid securities.
The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
Unverified bid results will be posted to BC Bid after tender opening and once awarded the contract award results will be available on BC Bid.
