County of Los Angeles Aging & Disabilities Department (AD) is releasing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) Services, to be provided throughout Los Angeles County (excluding the City of Los Angeles, which is served by another public entity). SCSEP helps low-income adults aged fifty-five (55) and older who face barriers to employment by providing hands-on job training through part-time, subsidized work at community service agencies and government entities (Training/Work Sites). SCSEP also supports Participants in building skills, transitioning to unsubsidized employment, and accessing support services that promote long-term job success and economic stability.
