This is an invitation to submit a bid to Lamar County for the SR 7 @ Atlanta Street project as indicated herein. Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Chairman (in Lamar County Administration Building at the above address) up to 2:00 p.m., February 12, 2026 at which time they will be opened and publicly read.

This project will be funded with 2025 LMIG and SPLOST funds. Construction includes work on SR 7 @ Atlanta Street. All work shall conform to the Georgia Department of Transportation¿s (GDOT) Standard Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, Current Edition; GDOT¿s Supplemental Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, Current Edition; and all applicable GDOT Standards and Details; and other contract requirements, specifications and general conditions.

Bid Documents may be obtained at the County Office Location by appointment. Proposers are encouraged to request Bid Documents via email. All proposers requesting plans and bid documents will be emailed bid documents and/or granted access to the Engineer¿s FTP site containing digital copies of plans, specifications, and addenda. No documents will be mailed. Request for Bid Documents and any questions regarding the project or to schedule an appointment to pick-up plans at the County¿s office should be emailed simultaneously to daniel.chastain@exp.com, ritchie.swindell@exp.com, and stownsend@lamarcountyga.com (Questions must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26th, 2026). Responses will be posted to the FTP site as an Addendum. Additional addendums may be issued during the proposal period. All proposers are responsible to check the Engineer¿s FTP site for addendums.
