THE FOLLOWING IS A NOTICE THAT THE U.S. COAST GUARD INTENDS TO AWARD A PURCHASE ORDER AS A SOLE SOURCE TO JOBE & COMPANY FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF ONE (1) DUPLEX STRAINER.
DUE TO THE SPECIFIC PIPING AND STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING DESIGN, ONLY THE SELECTED DUPLEX STRAINER , 72-48F-EQUIV, MUST BE UTILIZED FOR THIS APPLICATION. THE DUPLEX STRAINERS OFFERED BY FLUID FILTRATION THROUGH JOBE & COMPANY ARE THE ONLY STRAINERS THAT WILL MEET THE U.S.COAST GUARD'S NEEDS.
THIS DETERMINATION IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH 6.302-1 ONLY ONE RESPONSIBLE SOURCE AND NO OTHER SUP[PLIES OR SERVICES WILL SATISFY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS. FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THE CIRCUMSTANCES PLEASE REFERENCE THE ATTACHED JOTFOC.
