Design- Culverts - Provincial Network Hydraulic Designs for Various Locations
Synopsis:
LFRFP 250067, Provincial Network Hydraulic Designs for Various Locations
The Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways (Ministry) has scheduled the replacement of several existing culverts and culvert replacement designs for future delivery over the next three years. This also includes the possibility of installing culverts at new locations. Each location may include more than one culvert and require a Hydraulic Memo, a Limited Analysis Report (LAR), or a Hydraulic Design Report to be completed according to the Ministry’s Hydraulic Manual (HM) and the additional requirements as outlined in this agreement. Preparation of tender packages will be required for each replacement. It is expected that bundling of replacement locations will be economical and provide cost savings.
Services that will be required on a case-by-case basis include utility plan preparation, organization and supervision of utility daylighting, right-of-way plan preparation, additional or alternative survey work or alternative survey methods, preparation of minor and major design exceptions, field investigation to determine fish passage, setup and monitoring fish survey, geotechnical investigations, design drawing preparation for Hydraulic Memos and LARs, emergency culvert response, preparation of Request for Review (RfR) from Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), preparation of Aquatic Habitat Protection Permit (AHPP) application to be submitted to Water Security Agency (WSA) or Ministry of Environment (MoE) as applicable.
Category of Work: Design- Culverts
