Description
The Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s Saskatoon Research and Development Center has a requirement for regular preventative maintenance of the existing Johnson Controls Building Automation System for the Main Lab Building at 107 Science Place, and the Crop Services Building, 410 Lowe Road, Saskatoon and various work on an ‘as and when requested’ basis. At 107 Science Place, the system consists of a server running both Windows Server SQL and Metasys ADX Extended Application and Data Server software. The Server is connected to nine network automation engines (NAE’s) via an internal ethernet network using three switches. The NAE’s connect via ethernet or R12 cabling to field controllers operating a VAV HVAC system employing chilled and heated glycol hydronic systems. At 410 Lowe Road, there is one NAE connected to two air handlers, a glycol hydronic heating system, and emergency generator and several thermostats throughout the building. The Lowe Road ethernet network is connected to the Server at 107 Science place over the internet.
Work to be performed under the Contract includes the following:
1. On-call Service during ‘regular working hours’.
2. On-site Maintenance Service which will include but not limited to:
1) Custom programming and application services.
2) Software update installation services.
3) Hardware services and minor upgrades.
3. Emergency service outside ‘regular working hours’.
4. Equipment installation and decommissioning.
5. Panel upgrades/replacements.
6. Technical Support
7. Training
The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s).
