Description
The Missouri Army National Guard (MOARNG) is issuing this pre-solicitation notice to inform industry of an upcoming requirement for Bulk Diesel Fuel. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with the procedures outlined in RFO 12.201-1(c)(2).
Please be advised that this notice is published solely to inform industry of the Government’s intent to solicit quotations directly from at least three fuel terminals and wholesale suppliers located in the local area. The Government does not intend to post a formal solicitation notice on SAM.gov for third-party resellers or brokers to quote.
In accordance with RFO 12.201-1(c)(2), for acquisitions at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), the Contracting Officer is electing to solicit quotations directly from suppliers. By posting this pre-solicitation notice, the Government is fulfilling the requirement to post a presolicitation notice in the GPE according to subpart 5.1.
Commodity Price Fluctuation & Award Timeline
Due to the extreme price fluctuations and market volatility associated with bulk diesel fuel, the MOARNG intends to execute a highly expedited procurement process. The Government intends to directly solicit quotes from the aforementioned local wholesale suppliers and terminals, and subsequently make an award on the same day.
The targeted date for both the direct solicitation and the contract award is May 19, 2026.
Disclaimer
This is a pre-solicitation notice only and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). No formal solicitation document will be posted to SAM.gov for this requirement.
