25-3925 Design Services for Wheeled Sports Park Facility

The City of Greenville is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified firms for design services for a wheeled sports park facility that will be the first of its kind in the area. The project shall consist of overall park design and project management in coordination with the bicycle playground, skatepark, and pumptrack design/build firm(s).

The City will obtain separate contracts with bicycle playground, skatepark, and pumptrack design/build firm(s) through approved procurement processes to lead design and implementation of these elements. Direct and continuous coordination with these specialty element design partners will be vital to the success of this project and must be incorporated into all aspects of the project including, but not limited to, public input, fundraising, graphics, design, engineering, permitting, and stakeholder management.

The City desires a multi-disciplinary team of professionals that can successfully navigate and blend the many facets of the project site, desires of the communities, needs of the stakeholders, and expectations of the City. The project team should represent architecture, civil, environmental, and geotechnical engineering, landscape architecture, surveying, public input professionals, and experts in the management of a multi-faceted team that can navigate and adapt to the evolution of a publicly facing project with high expectations for the end product.
