University of Alberta
The University of Alberta is inviting Proposals from experienced Electrical Engineering Consultancy’s as the prime and coordinating Consultant for Canadian Centre for Interdisciplinary Science (CCIS) Lighting Control Renewal.

Canadian Centre for Interdisciplinary Science (CCIS) is a 53,900 sq.m world class science research and teaching facility located at the University of Alberta North Campus. The facility houses offices, classrooms, laboratories, lecture theatres and gathering spaces. Open to students in 2011, the CCIS facility was awarded LEED Canada Silver certification.

The Encelium intelligent lighting control system presently installed At CCIS utilizes Greenbus I devices and category 3 wiring. It is the University’s intent to replace the Encelium intelligent lighting control system with a non-proprietary, open-source communication protocol, lighting control system that is fully integrated with the University’s BAS network via the Tridium Niagara Supervisor software.
