City of Lacombe

The City of Lacombe is requesting Quotes from qualified contractors to design and construct a new above-ground mechanical building to house existing spray park mechanical equipment. This RFQ is intentionally limited to the building, civil, electrical, and site works only. All mechanical equipment relocation and new plumbing runs will be completed by Automated Aquatics under a separate scope. A second phase of replacing spray park specific mechanical equipment is planned for 2027. These replacements will be taken into consideration when designing the new building.

The existing underground mechanical pit is at end of life, undersized, and presents ongoing
operational and safety risks. This project replaces the pit with a purpose-built aboveground
structure to improve safety, accessibility, and long-term maintainability.
