Description


Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated § 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier to provide Electronic Health Records (EHR) and/or Medical Revenue Cycle Management Services (RCM) services to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (USG) (the ¿State Entity¿), as further described in this eRFP.
This procurement will result in the establishment of an enabling contract available for use by all USG institutions. The resulting contract will have an initial term of one (1) year, with up to four (4) optional renewals, poteintally up to nine (9) optional renewals if continued value and performance demonstrate that a longer-term agreement is in the best interest of the USG, and approved by DOAS.
The University System of Georgia invites qualified suppliers to submit proposals for one or both of the following service areas:

Electronic Health Records (EHR)
Medical Revenue Cycle Management Services (RCM)

As an enabling contract, additional USG institutions may elect to participate in the contract throughout its term. The awarded Supplier(s) will have the opportunity to market their solution(s) directly to USG institutions, subject to USG oversight and approval, to encourage participation and ensure alignment with institutional and systemwide needs.
Participation Requirements:While the EHR services portion of this contract is optional, participation in the Medical Revenue Cycle Management Services (RCM) portion is mandatory for any USG institution that chooses to manage its medical billing, claims, and revenue cycle functions through a third-party provider rather than through internal university personnel. Institutions performing RCM activities in-house are exempt from this requirement but may opt in to the systemwide contract at any time.  Power Four Confrence¿affiliated institutions, including the University of Georgia and Georgia Institute of Technology, may participate in this contract at their discretion.
