Project Description: Eagle Mountain City is requesting bids from responsible firms or individuals for procurement of a replacement vertical turbine pump to be used in conjunction with the City’s Well #5 Upgrade project. All items under this contract will be included as fixed price in the bid schedule for the Well #5 Upgrade project and will be managed by the General Contractor who is awarded that project. That General Contractor will be responsible for coordinating delivery, installation, testing, start-up, and completion activities.
Attention: Any bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will not be considered. The following documents will be required with the bid or upon contract signing. ** Bid Bond for 5% of the total project required with the bidding documents** Proof of Required Insurance with bid, Certificate of Insurance at contract signing ** 100% Performance Bond will be posted by the approved contractor at contract signing ** ** 100% Payment Bond will be posted by the approved contractor at contract signing **
Opening of Bids: Bids will be opened on or around the bid closing. Results will be posted after bids have been evaluated. Vendors who submit a bid will be notified of the results via email. The email will include a spreadsheet of all vendors, and the amounts of the bids submitted for the project. Please include the name and email address of your contact person in the cover letter so we can send the notification of bid results. Bids will also be posted on Eaglemountaincity.com/purchasing. Once a vendor is chosen for the awarded contract all vendors will be notified of the vendor who will be awarded the contract. The chosen vendor will submit the remaining required insurance, bonds, and other required documentation with a signed contract.
