Separate sealed bids for the Greyhawk Basin Sewer Interceptor for the City of Bixby, Oklahoma will be received by the City of Bixby, Oklahoma at City Hall, 116 West Needles, Bixby, Oklahoma 74008, until 2:00 P.M.,January 21, 2025 for furnishing tools, materials and labor, and performing the work necessary to be done in the construction of the above.
All bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Director of Public Works, or her designated representative, in the Council Room of the City of Bixby, Oklahoma, at the time and date shown above.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on January 9, 2025, at 10:00 A.M., at the Bixby City Hall, Council Chambers, 116 West Needles, Bixby, Oklahoma 74008.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
Bid Submissions
The sealed proposal of each bidder shall be accompanied by a Noncollusion Affidavit, Business Relationship Affidavit, Experience, and Equipment Questionnaire, and a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bidder's Surety Bond in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid will be required from each bidder to be retained as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails, neglects, or refuses to enter into said contract for the construction of said public improvements for said project, and furnish the necessary bonds within ten (10) days from and after the date the award is made.
Bids received more than ninety-six hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
Notice
No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening.

Manhole Base
Sanitary sewer manholes should include a base 1-foot in diameter greater than the outside diameter of the manhole to set the manhole on.
Item #8
Levee Fence
Contractor shall be responsible for fence along levee. Care shall be taken not to damage fencing. Cost to remove and reinstall shall be included in other items of work.
Item #9
Type A Aggregate Base
Type A Aggregate Base shall be used for backfill in areas under pavement and along levee road (i.e. MHs 2 to 4 and MHs 4 to 22). Cost of backfill material to be included in cost bid for pipe.

Protection of Fencing
Contractor shall protect and replace all removed or damaged fencing with like kind materials. Cost shall be included in cost bid for other items.
Item #2
Clarification of Tree Clearing
All tree clearing and removal necessary for the construction the project, including access, pipe laying, manhole setting, and boring, etc., shall be included in the cost bid for clearing and grubbing. Material shall become the property of the contractor and shall be disposed of in a manner acceptable to the Engineer.

Site Visit
Contractor is encouraged to visit the site and understand the project elements necessary prior to bidding project.

32-inch Boring Quantity Adjustment
The bore dimension has been updated. A revised plan sheet showing the change has been included with this addendum along with an updated Attachment A, dated January 24, 2025.
