VETERAN’S SERVICES AND SUPPORT UTILIZATION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY

BID OPENING WENDESDAY, JUNE 17, 2026, AT 11:00AM

ADVERTISEMENT

The City of East Providence is seeking formal proposals from qualified organizations to lease, manage, and utilize the City-owned property located at 47 Payette Street, East Providence, RI.

The property is a municipal asset configured as a single-family home. The City's core objective is to enter into a long-term lease agreement with a dedicated veteran services organization that can maximize this asset to support East Providence veterans. To fulfill this civic intent, the selected organization must utilize the property to provide transitional housing and comprehensive case management with wrap-around services for veterans in need.

There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid site visit on WEDNESDAY, MAY 27, 2026, at 1:00PM at 47 Payette Street, East Providence, RI 02914.

One (1) original, one (1) copy and one (1) Thumb Drive of the proposal shall be submitted in one (1) sealed envelope to East Providence City Hall, Controllers Office, Room 103, Attn: Jessica Lamprey, Procurement Specialist, 145 Taunton Ave., East Providence, RI 02914 no later than WENDESDAY, JUNE 17, 2026, AT 11:00AM. The bids will be publicly opened and recorded on the same day in Conference Room A at East Providence City Hall, 145 Taunton Avenue, East Providence. Bids received with a time of 11:01 AM or later will be rejected. The outside envelope must be marked RFP EP25/26-011 VETERAN’S SERVICES AND SUPPORT UTILIZATION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY

The City reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
