Solicitation Summary
The Maryland Environmental Service (Service or MES) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP)
for the complete design and construction of improvements to the entrance culvert bridge at the Swallow
Falls State Park located at 2470 Maple Glade Road, Oakland, Maryland 21550.
It is MES’s intention to obtain services, as specified in this RFP, from a Contract between the selected
Successful Offeror and MES . The anticipated duration of services to be provided under this Contract is
the successful contractor shall have One hundred fifty (150) consecutive calendar days to complete all
work, commencing from the start date specified in the Notice to Proceed issued by MES. Any work
proposed to be conducted on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays must receive prior approval from
MES/MMD.
MES intends to make up to a single award as a result of this RFP.
