On or about January 26, 2026 the City of Warren, Ohio will submit a request to the United
States Department of Housing and Urban Development for the release of Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds under Title 1 of the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974 (42 U.S.C. 5301 et seq.), as amended, to undertake a project known
as 2026-OPWC-CDBG-Road-Project for the purpose of resurfacing street segments located at :
Atlantic St NE from Elm to Genesee, Summit St NW from the edge of the bridge to Atlantic,
Parkman Rd NW from Leavitt to the edge of the bridge, Tod Ave NW from Dunstan to Elm Hill,
McMyler St NW from W Market to Ohio, Oregon Ave NW from W Market to McMyler, Nevada
Ave NW from W Market to McMyler, Ferndale Ave SW from Southwest to Saratoga, Saratoga St
SW from Ferndale to Deerfield, and Deerfield Ave SW from Southwest to Saratoga. The
estimated funding $1,665,000.00 (including non-HUD funding sources).
The activities proposed are categorically excluded under HUD regulations at 24 CFR Part 58
from National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). An Environmental Review Record (ERR)
that documents the environmental determinations for this project is on file at the
Community Development Department, 258 E Market St., Suite 305, Warren, OH 44481 and may
be examined or copied weekdays 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., by appointment only.
