Notes
|
Lancaster County and the City of Lincoln are seeking information from qualified providers regarding the operation, design, and potential partnerships for a low-demand shelter and day center to serve persons experiencing homelessness in Lincoln, specifically those seeking shelter that are not able to shelter in the current emergency shelter array.
This RFI focuses on identifying innovative and effective agencies and approaches to low-demand, low-barrier, high-expectation shelters in alignment with trauma-informed, client-centered principles and that are housing-focused. The goal of this RFI is to identify providers that can meet the emergency shelter and homeless day center needs of the community, minimize barriers to entry, and address the needs of individuals who may be reluctant or unable to engage with our community’s current array of shelters.
