Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide Advanced Robotics and Integrated Security Operations Center Computing Networking Labs to the Savannah State University (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ.
The Savannah State University (SSU), pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et. Seq.), is issuing an Electronic Request for Quote (eRFQ) to one qualified supplier to provide a comprehensive, industry-aligned workforce training laboratory supporting programs in Advanced Manufacturing, Robotics & Automation, Cybersecurity/Networking, and Electric Vehicle Technology. The purpose of this procurement is to acquire, install, implement, and support integrated instructional training systems that prepare students for high-demand careers and industry certifications. The University seeks a single qualified vendor capable of providing turnkey delivery, including all equipment, curriculum, installation, instructor training, technical support, and long-term program implementation assistance. This project will need to align to Certifications for FANUC Certified Education Robot Training (CERT) Program, FANUC Handling Tool Operation and Programming Certification, FANUC IR Vision Certification, CompTIA Tech+ Certification, CompTIA A+ Certification, AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE) Credential, ISACA Security Fundamentals Certificate, CompTIA Security+ Certification, Certified Pentester (CompTIA Pentest+), ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Practitioner (CISSP), Network Analyst (CompTIA CvSA+), SANS Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) and SACA Certifications.
Savannah State University intends to identify a single responsible supplier capable of providing all equipment from the following manufacturers: FANUC, Marcraft, Amatrol, and LJ Create as outlined in the bid specifications herein.
