Solicitation of Interest –da Vinci Service and Support
Description:
SUNY Upstate Medical University hereby seeks letters of interest from vendors capable of providing service and support for the da Vinci Xi Robots:

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR INVITATION FOR BID.
This Solicitation of Interest is merely to determine if any vendors exist who have the
capability and interest to provide the service requested.
The expected activities/work to be performed includes:

System maintenance inspections as necessary to maintain factory specifications including preventative maintenance of the following Intuitive Surgical systems:
-
Da Vinci Xi surgical system with dual consoles – quantity 5
-
Corrective maintenance service for all the devices listed above.
-
Full service coverage including parts, labor and travel. Travel and living expenses incurred by vendors’ engineers are covered.

All parts are Intuitive Surgical certified.
-
Maintenance must be performed by a certified Intuitive Surgical technician using Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts.
-
Unlimited technical service support which includes telephone troubleshooting assistance and dispatch of onsite support as needed.

Provide bug fixes and updates to correct errors and/or make changes to existing system software and hardware required to maintain existing functionality and improve performance.
-
Guaranteed Response time is within 24 hours
-
Periodic software updates to improve system reliability and performance.
-
Access to instruments and accessories support.
-
Preferred pricing and next day service on repair/replacement related to accidental damage of endoscopes, camera heads and skills simulators.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Applicant is eligible to conduct business with New York State
-
If other than Intuitive Surgical, the applicant has a minimum 10 years’ experience with Da Vinci Xi surgical systems equipment maintenance and service

If other than Intuitive Surgical, the applicant must attest to training and competence in the maintenance and service of Da Vinci Xi systems.

If other than Intuitive Surgical, the applicant must provide at least three references from Intuitive Surgical customers they have contracted within the last 3 years. References must be from customers who own similar Da Vinci Xi equipment.
