at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Office of Procurement. The City of Springfield is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to enter into an agreement to provide flooring services at the following Springfield Public Schools. These bids fall under M.G.L. Ch. 149 and other procurement statutes. Work includes, but is not limited to: flooring upgrades and/or installation and associated labor tasks (removal of existing flooring, patching, leveling) including cove base, of selected areas. Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfield-ma.gov beginning on March 11, 2026.

Bid 26-143 – Rebecca Johnson Elementary School, 55 Catharine Street. Springfield, MA 01109. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $100,000.00. It is strongly encouraged to attend a site visit on 3/19/26 at 10:00 A.M. on-site.

All questions regarding the IFB or its specifications must be received in writing by the Office of Procurement on or before 3/20/26 (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
