Solicitation Document Description: This Request for Quotation (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the City of Toronto (the “City”) to prospective Suppliers to submit bids for non-exclusive supply of all labour, installation, warranty, materials, repair services, supplies, O.E.M. parts, tools, apparatus, transportation, mileage, equipment, operator, fuel, maintenance, ancillary charges and incidentals to perform all operations necessary to provide Truck Weigh Scale Repair and Calibration the City of Toronto's Transfer Stations for the Solid Waste Management Services (SWMS) Division, as further described in Part 3 and the Contract (the “Deliverables”).
Specific Conditions for Procurement: Optional Meeting
1. All Suppliers are encouraged to attend an optional meeting to familiarize themselves with the required Deliverables. The optional information meeting will take place at Dufferin Yard located at 75 Vanley Crescent, M3J 2B7 local time on September 16th, 2025 at 9:00am, Toronto. Meetings will not be available at any other times.
2. Suppliers shall sign the attendance sheet at the meeting during the designated date and time.
3. Suppliers submitting bids without attending the information meeting do so at their own risk.
4. A record of questions and answers as deemed relevant from the optional information meeting will be distributed in the form of an Addendum and posted on the City's online call document system.
5. The City reserves the right not to answer questions at the information meeting
6. Site Visit Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements: safety boots, hard hat, masks and reflective safety vest.
