Bid Description:
The Town of Killington is accepting sealed bids for the replacement of a culvert located on Richardson Road. The project scope includes temporary diversion of stream flow, removal of existing culvert, pipe installation, headwalls/wingwalls, and guardrails. The road is allowed to be closed during construction. Completion of work in the stream is required by October 1, 2026, substantial completion by October 15, 2026, and final construction completed on or before November 1, 2026.

All questions shall be referred to Enman Kesselring Consulting Engineers. Deadline for questions is August 14, 2026. Bidders may inspect the site at any time. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the site on August 7, 2026 at 10 A.M.
Sealed bids are due to the Town Manager’s Office by 3:00 p.m. August 24, 2026. The Bids received will be opened publicly at the next Select Board meeting. Bidders are not required to be present at bid opening.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as described in the Bid Form. This project is financed with federal funds. Project requires Bid, Payment, and Performance bonding.
Bids may be either delivered to the Town Manager’s Office at 2046 Route 4, Killington, VT or mailed to Town of Killington, c/o Town Manager, PO Box 429, Killington, VT 05751. Envelopes must be marked “Richardson Road Culvert Replacement” and received by the bid date and time.

There is no requirement for Davis Bacon prevailing wages on the bid.
