SALE ADVERTISEMENT

Richloam 24/25 Saw Palmetto Frond Sale

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service is seeking sealed bids for the sale of timber. This sale is for the harvesting of palmetto fronds from approximately 11,833 acres within the Richloam Tract of Withlacoochee State Forest, in Hernando and Sumter Counties, Florida (see attached maps). Fronds may be harvested from saw palmetto (Serenoa repens). This will be a twelve (12) month contract. Interested parties may obtain complete bid information by contacting Andrew Kent at (352) 797-4126.

The Florida Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in bids received.
