Description

The expected outcome and desired result of this service delivery is the prompt and timely evaluation of an individual’s Fitness To Learn a Second Official Language (FTLSOL) following the MRO’s review of relevant personal information and/or medical evidence within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of receipt of all information and evidence required to render a written medical recommendation on the individual’s ability or inability to learn a second official language.

The overall objective is to obtain an expert review and written medical recommendation from a certified and recognized MRO on whether an individual has a medical condition that is preventing an individual from learning their second official language. The MRO may be called upon to provide expert testimony related to the recommendations rendered, in the case of a complaint.
