The existing polymer blending system at Terminal Island has reached the end of its useful service life. The project will:
♦ Remove outdated equipment
♦ Implement automation,
♦ Integrate DCS for improved maintenance and operation.
The project will install
♦ Neat polymer transfer pumps
♦ Diluted polymer delivery pumps
♦ Two 7,000 gal batch mixing tanks
♦ Flow control valves
♦ VFDs
♦ Electrical and control equipment.
